The mission of TigerMountain Foundation is to
empower the South Phoenix community,
one person and one community garden at a time.

To achieve this vision, TMF currently has four large community gardens on formerly vacant lots in South Phoenix with about nine acres planted in vegetables and fruit trees.
Children and adolescents from the surrounding neighborhoods spend time planting, weeding, harvesting and then selling the vegetables at Farmers Markets around metro Phoenix. TMF recently took on 3 young men. Jerome T. (15), Zaquariae T (14), and Daniel T. (14) who were not attending school.
They participated in On the Job Development Initiatives. Now all three boys are back in school and doing well. They still work with TMF in the Community Gardens and Agribusiness when they are not in school.
TMF also helps some adults who work in the gardens and work on landscape teams. Many of these adults were prisoners. They are now gaining on-the-job skills and an appreciation for the value of work.
Every dollar that you contribute goes directly to TMF’s Teen and Landscape Workforce Development. It provides gardening, agriscaping, and landscaping skills alongside life skills.
Empower today's youth to avoid gangs and other negative influences in their communities!
Urban agriculture & incubator farming encourages social and environmental change. Participants emerge with healthy eating lifestyles as well as other life and work skills that will allow them to become supporting members of their community.
Visit the Garden of Tomorrow for gardening demonstrations held in the morning of the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month. Those demonstrations end with a meal of vegetables from the garden.

Yes, we are a fiscally sponsored project of Technical Assistance Partnership of Arizona , which is a public 501c3 organization recognized by the IRS. Your donation is tax-deductible to the fullest extent permissible by law.

Yes, the security and confidentiality of your information is our highest priority. How do I know that my donation was made successfully?
You will receive an emailed receipt immediately after your donation is submitted and your credit card is processed. Your donation will also show up on your bank or card statement within 1-3 business days.
Do I get a receipt?
Yes, a receipt is sent to your email inbox once your donation is processed. Please be sure to keep a copy of your receipt for tax purposes. If you select a recurring donation, you will be sent an individual receipt each period when your donation is processed.
